The Monteleone project for W London, a 5-star London hotel
Here is our project for the Hotel W London, in the Soho district. Our design mirrors to give substance to the vision of Interior Designer “Krause Architects”.
The W London hotel is located in London’s West End, in the Soho district, the city’s socio-cultural landmark and a magnet for visitors of all targets.
The structure is breathtaking and capable of intercepting the multiple tensions of the area, characterised by artistic fervour and glamorous impulses: W London overlooks Leicester Square and takes centre stage with its innovative yet familiar profile.
Imposing on the outside and ecstatic on the inside, the hotel sets itself as a landmark for anyone arriving in the British capital in search of a top-notch stay in the beating heart of the city.
With this in mind, we approached Interior Designer ‘Krause Architects’ with the concept for the bathroom mirrors for all the rooms in the building.
We wanted to be bold, but at the same time respectful and embrace the designers’ stylistic choices. This dual requirement led us towards a choice, which was unanimously accepted by the client and the designer.
Reflective solutions capable of intercepting all our technical, aesthetic and functional inspirations: mirrors with a rounded line, visually striking yet discreet, soberly yet incisively in harmony with the context.
These mirrors stand out for their superior technology and visual depth: the smooth, evocatively glamorous polish, the luminous disc with integrated magnifying mirror, customised finishes, robustness and lightness.
The mirrors have dressed the bathroom of all rooms with unconventional character and function, enhancing the most automatic gestures such as combing one’s hair, shaving, observing oneself.
