US: Private investment firm Rockbridge has announced the opening of independent lifestyle hotel The Junto this May in Columbus, Ohio.
The Junto will be operated by Makeready, a division within Rockbridge. The hotel will offer 198 rooms and suites along with five food and beverage outlets.
Breakfast, coffee, and a grab-and-go service will be available at Maudine’s; cocktails will be served in the fireside library the Trade Room; the rooftop bar Brass Eye provides views of downtown Columbus; the hotel’s restaurant Little West Tavern will focus on wood-hearth cooking; and the Little West Poutine is a walk-up window serving classic poutine.
Other amenities include 13,000 square-feet of event and meeting space, as well as a fitness centre with Peloton bikes and Rogue Fitness equipment. Additionally, The Gear Garage will offer guests complimentary bikes, scooters and longboards for use in the local area.

Makeready operates hotels, restaurants and retail shops throughout the country including: Noelle, Keep Shop, Hidden Bar and Makeready L&L in Nashville; The Alida and Rhett in Savannah; The Adolphus and Commerce Goods + Supply in Dallas; and Hank’s Seafood Restaurant in Charleston and its venue space Hank’s Social Hall.
