Radisson plans first luxury hotel for Abuja

Radisson Collection Hotel & Conference Center, Abuja Nigeria marks the group’s ninth hotel and third Radisson Collection in the country, placing the group on track to achieve 15 hotels in Nigeria by 2025.
Exclusive location
Located next to the Presidential Palace in Maitama District, one of the most sought after areas in Abuja, the newbuild, 249 room hotel will be the city’s first luxury hotel.
The accommodation range will include standard rooms and apartments alongside lofts and presidential suites. Spanning across almost 3000 sq m, the meeting spaces of Radisson Collection Hotel & Conference Center, Abuja Nigeria will consist of a divisible conference hall, five meeting rooms, a board room, as well as a pre-function area.
Dining and unwinding
The hotel’s dining outlets will consist of a lobby lounge and coffee bar, as well as a business class lounge for a quick meal or business meeting. The all-day dining, specialty, and rooftop restaurants will offer tailored dining experiences.
To unwind, guests will be able to relax on the pool deck and bar or workout at the onsite gym, as well as experiencing treatments at the wellness facilities. The hotel’s onsite nightclub will be a new addition to Abuja’s social scene.
Vast potential

African collection
Radisson Collection hotels consist of iconic properties in unique locations. Each hotel is authentic to the destination while offering the brand’s hallmarks of signature dining, local art, and experiences to create genuine connections. Elsewhere in Nigeria another site for the brand, Emerald Grand Hotel & Spa, Radisson Collection, is taking shape on the upscale Victoria Island in Lagos. The 250-key site is due for completion in Q1 2024.
In north Africa, the art deco style Lincoln Hotel, the oldest hotel in Casablanca, Morocco, will re-emerge in Q1 2025 as the 119-key Lincoln Casablanca, a Radisson Collection Hotel, following a sensitive restoration. Plus in Egypt, Radisson Collection Marsa Allam will add 294 rooms to the portfolio in 2024.
