US: Luxury hotel and serviced residence operator AKA is set to open its third property in the DC Metro area on 1 May 2024.
Electra America Hospitality Group (EAHG), a joint venture between Electra America and AKA, acquired the former One Washington Circle Hotel in 2022.
Located in the Foggy Bottom/West End neighbourhood, the 151-room Hotel AKA Washington Circle has been redesigned by Gensler.
Accommodation can cater to both short-term visits and longer stays, offering a range of king or queen rooms, one-bedroom suites and penthouses, many of which feature balconies or terraces.
Amenities include a restaurant created by Ellen Yin, founder and co-owner of High Street Hospitality Group, marking the third partnership between AKA and the restaurateur. The kitchen will be led by executive chef Eli Collins with the wine and cocktail program curated by Wine Enthusiast.
Other communal spaces include the multifunctional lobby lounge, Technogym fitness centre, an executive conference room with AV capabilities, a private cinema,

In the area, Hotel AKA Washington Circle joins AKA White House and Hotel AKA Alexandria, which opened in April 2023.
