Palette Hotels has appointed Sarah Miller as senior director, corporate finance. Bringing experience from auditing and multinational corporations, she will provide precise financials, smarter capital management and innovative accounting practices designed to position properties for long-term success, according to the company.
“As Palette continues to grow its portfolio, we are expanding and investing in our accounting capabilities,” said Richard Lou, CEO, Palette. “As an owner myself, I know accounting can be a major pain point and an area where I see our industry lagging behind the times. Owners care about timely, accurate numbers and a financial strategy they can trust. Sarah’s background—spanning auditing, public corporations and international business—gives her a unique perspective beyond the hotel industry. With experience in automation, integration and compliance, she will bring new ideas that reimagine how accounting can fuel innovation and growth at the property level and our continued growth.”
Most recently, Miller served as senior director, accounting with MillerKnoll, where she supported the integration of accounting systems and teams during the company’s acquisition of Knoll. During her tenure, she led complex cross-functional projects. A former certified public accountant (CPA), she previously held leadership roles at Herman Miller and worked as a public auditor for PwC.
“I share Palette’s commitment to reshaping what financial leadership can look like in hospitality,” Miller said. “With my experience in U.S. GAAP, compliance and large-scale integration projects, I see a tremendous opportunity to bring new thinking into the industry. Owners want more than reports—they want insights and strategies they can trust. I’m eager to help deliver those results in innovative ways.”
