The Plasencia Group arranged the sale of the 96-room Hilton Garden Inn Tampa Ybor Historic District in Tampa.
Situated in the heart of Ybor City, the property is well-positioned to benefit from the ongoing revitalization and expansion of Tampa’s most storied entertainment district, immediately adjacent to Downtown Tampa, according to the company.
Since opening in 1999, it has captured demand from multiple segments, including corporate and group business tied to downtown, as well as leisure travelers drawn to the cultural heritage of Ybor City. The neighborhood, founded by Cuban, Spanish and Italian immigrants in the late 19th century, rose to prominence as a cigar-making center and today remains one of Tampa’s most distinctive and historic destinations.
“The Hilton Garden Inn has long been one of Tampa’s standouts,” said Nick Plasencia, managing director, The Plasencia Group. “Its strong current performance, combined with Ybor’s resurgence, positions the property for a promising future. We’re honored by our client’s confidence in our team and look forward to seeing the hotel flourish under new ownership.”
